![]() ![]() So now I'm guessing that the best option is to get a HDMI splitter so that I can split the HDMI signal from my PS4 Pro to both my sound bar and TV without losing video/audio quality. I could use Digital Optical for my PS4 Pro when it comes to sound, but after steady testing all night, I found that HDMI output offered better sound quality for me. The current setup I have now is PS4 Pro (HDMI) to Soundbar (HDMI) to TV (HDMI), but the problem with this setup is that my picture is effected with crushed blacks, (which from looking it up I think it's due to my sound bar only doing HDMI-ARC out). I'm trying to find a good 2-way HDMI splitter to send HDMI signals to both my TV and my Soundbar. I was searching the web as much as I could but could only find people using outputs of two TVs and only very few who talked about having a signal to TV and Soundbar. I'll start off with posting the info for my TV and Soundbar that I use with my PS4 Pro: Hey guys, I was just looking for some advice before I go off buying stuff. /r/AverageJoeAudiophile for Two Channel Audio - DAC's Turntables, etc. When requesting help for issues POST DETAILS, MODELS, & PICS.Many questions have already been answered, USE SEARCH & See FAQ's.Messaging Mods via their private inbox not via mod mail will result in a ban and your messages ignored. These are known as HDMI matrix switch/splitters, and tend to cost $30 to $200 depending on the model, specifications, and chosen retailer.99.9% of the time Soundbars or HTiB (Home Theater in a Box) systems are not a good investment of your time and money. This allows you to send one source to multiple displays, as well as connect multiple signals to a single display. If you need both HDMI splitter and HDMI switch capabilities, you can buy two separate devices or opt for a combined splitter/switch. You should be wary of the retailer you buy your switch from, as a device with many inputs at a very low price may have hidden catches and drawbacks. HDMI switches fall in the price range of around $5 to $70 but can cost more if you want a high number of input ports. Most HDMI switches support up to 4K video quality. You can't display two HDMI inputs on one display simultaneously, but you can quickly switch between inputs using an HDMI switch. However, HDMI switches only display one HDMI source at any given time. If you need to connect multiple HDMI sources to a single display, a switch is the one for you. Many HDMI switches now come with a remote, so you can switch from source to source without interacting with the device directly. When connecting multiple inputs to an HDMI switch, you can choose which signal you want to be sent to the destination display. ![]()
